Halloween/Valentine Party Ideas

The ideas listed below should be modified for younger and older classes.

Bingo • Musical Chairs • Freeze Dance •Jenga • Cup Stacking • Name That Tune (With Buzzers) • Pin The Tail On The Donkey • Spider Or Heart, etc • Decorate A Pumpkin • Make Bracelets with Pipe Cleaners & Beads • Holiday Card Making Station • Bozo Bucket Game • Ring Toss • Slingshot Game • Halloween Pumpkin Egg Hunt • Valentine's Day Egg Hunt • Limbo With Music • Make Knot Pillows For The Classroom • Kindness Board ( each student picks a paper pumpkin/heart with a classmates name pre-written on it and they write something they like/positive about that friend and then tapes it on the board) • Would You Rather Questions • Holiday Trivia Where Teams Face Off With Game Buzzers • Escape Room Activity • Left/ Right Story Group Activity (read a story and kids are in a large circle; each time they hear the word right or left they pass a box they are holding in that direction and at the end they open the box for a surprise) • Guess How Much A Pumpkin Or Heart Decoration Weighs • Guess How Many Candy Corn Or Hearts Are In A Jar (cannot open it as food/candy is NOT allowed) • Make Slime • Plinko Game • Small Baggo Game • Bowling Game • Spider Race (blow spiders with a straw) • Eye Ball or Heart Race (you place an eye ball or heart on a spoon and race without dropping it) • Check Pinterest For Craft Ideas, Baggo Game • Bowling Game & Mystery Boxes (an object is placed inside a box and the kids can only feel it with their hands and guess what it is by touch only).

Mural Paper
There are 2 areas in the school where you may get mural paper, if needed to cover classroom tables or for decorating/craft purposes. One mural paper station is located right outside the Art Room and the other station is in the 5th Grade hallway.
